Okay, now this is getting out of hand....Air Jordan is creating a hype that is currently unbearable. Just got word that the Air Jordan Concord 11s and Air Jordan Columbia 11s are rumored to release next year either in a package or separate. WOW, were my exact words. 2011 might be the year we have all been waiting for...Here's a tip: Save every piece of change you may have or find...check your couches and ask your momma for money...trade in the useless items you have laying around and come to TAKEOVER because we will have em...yeah i said that.

WOW-This Is Just Crazy

RUMORS...RUMORS...RUMORS...They make the world go round'...

The same source that released the info about the Air Jordan 7 Bordeaux and the Air Jordan 5 GrapexLaney package..released some big big biiiigggg news recently. 2011 maybe the best year for retros ever since 2001! Rumore to release are the Air Jordan 4 Cement, Olympic 6s, chicago 10s, alongside the Grape and Laney 5s....WOOWWW is right! 2011 seems to be the year of the jumpman because there will be no other competition. Good luck SOLE HUNTING next year..We will have official confirmation by next week after the meeting with the Jordan Reperesentatives.

Just keep in mind...whatever releases....TAKEOVER will have it. POW!

During the weekend, Takeover announced one of it's biggest recruits: "X" It's been a long time coming, but it has happened. If your stopping by the shop and wondering who will be holding down the fort besides the Sneaker Ambassador Suraj, it's X. He will be the Manager at Takeover, so he is sort of a big deal..so get on his good side. His sneaker knowledge is ridiculous. This dude knows it all. He's been a close friend and family to TeamTakeover since the establishment of Sneaker Room a few years back!! Now thats OG. Give em a shout...show em some love...Welcome to the team brother. Well...well...well...if it isn't our old friend Mr. and Mrs. 2's. Releasing October 2010, yes next month, is the retro Jordan 2's. Something nice for the whole family! Releasing in Men, Kids, and even Preschool sizes next month. The AJ2 is always a hit anytime they come out...NO NIKE though so don't hold your breathe OG fans. Check em out, cop a few...spend some money..

Cool Grey Mania!!!! Just released are pictures of a Summer 2011 drop. The Cool Grey AJ 5's were just leaked to the world and my my do they do some damage. No other colors besides shades of grey and white grace this shoe. Just for reference, DO NOT GET YOUR HOPE UP. This spectacular color way might be a BIN 23 release, so be prepared to hunt and pay for these bad boys...They might be a retro release, which I am hoping for...stay tuned for updates...

Nike Dunk SB-Street Fighter Pack

I know I have been talking about this for quite some time now...Release after release I am keeping you guys updated on this pack! This time the update is about......you guessed it! Akuma. P-Rod IV High just released detailed photos showing the third installment of the Nike SB Street Fighter Pack. Blue Canvas with a black swoosh and midsole. Not to mention Akuma's "kanji" on the heel of the sneaker. Like the rest of the pack, a black and white graphic of the character is printed on the insole. This shoe also includes a secondary set of red laces. These already started to drop in select stores...look out for em' at your local SB shop. So far so good...keep it up Nike SB.

Just a reminder! The Kicks on Chicks 2011 Calendar is set to release in a few weeks. Will you be the first to get yours? The calendar includes twelve pairs of infamous sneakers ranging from Nikes to Jordans worn by some of the flyest chicks around. Besides Yami Doll, Mrs. DR, Sex Kitten Rozzi, the one and only Chyna, and Massi it includes the ever so talented Joanna Shari. We have the one and only beautiful Joanna Shari- OMG! Air Jordan 13 from the BIN 23 Collection

From the Premio Bin 23 Collection comes the third official release after the Air Jordan II(2) and the Air Jordan IX(9). The Air Jordan XIII(13) is limited to only 1,734 pairs. The pair includes the signature wax stamp of "23" seen on the tongue of the shoe. Like the other Bin 23 collection sneakers, it includes a set of wooden shoe trees and a dope shoe bag. Keep in mind, the Bin collection was created for collectors and true Jordan lovers. Check out the Kicks on Chicks Calendar to see what chick is wearing one of the sneakers from the Bin Collection. Fred The Godson Gets Laced with the Pearl Foams

As you may all already know...Takeover is known for supplying major celebs with their footwear needs. Well one night Suraj-the Sneaker Ambassador gets a phone call from Fred The Godson telling him he needs 4 pairs of Pearl Foams before the release date. 2 hours later Suraj and myself are taking a ride to the Bronx to show The Blok Work Family and Fred some love and deliver the kicks first hand...watch their reaction....watch the prank....watch TAKEOVERTV.

FCNY On Broadway

They have done it again....FLIGHTCLUB has opened one of its biggest venues yet! I have one phrase to describe it- GODDAMN!! This is HUGE (That's what she said) Over 1,300 sneakers on one wall...stupid amount of fitteds and FCNY apparel, and an insane new look. This should go to show that this culture is no where near dying out and this is in fact just the beginning. The new FCNY is now on Broadway. Aight, aight, aight....Henney Black hosted an exclusive birthday party for Hot 97's very own DJ BobbyTrends. One word to describe the party- ZOO! Red Cafe, Joel Ortiz, DJ Juanyto, DJ Cipha Sounds, DJ Drewski, Pure, Jadakiss, DJ Naim, and Fred the God Son just name a few.

So just to keep it sweet... While Suraj and I were walking the mean streets of NYC, we happen to bump into a couple of our friends. Here's another look into our daily lives.

When Foamposites Attack

Sounds like a bad horror flick huh? Seems like the foamposite material is making quite some noise in the sneaker world. JB's Air Jordan 1 Armor Cranberry reminds everyone of the upcoming Penny 1/2 cent but it honestly just reminds me of the GARBAGE JB is capable of creating. haha. These arent as bad as I expected them to be. I might wear them......in the rain or snow...or use them for mowing the lawn if I had one. Big ups to Team Jordan for this creation. On a brighter note: There are a bunch of DOPE releases coming out this season. Stay tuned.
